Default 2009 Spring Show & Shine

Not really a trip report, per se, but an event report.

The only "hitch" we thought we would have was the weather...but it held out and the sun broke through 3 or 4 times. We only had 29 registered rigs because the prospective weather scared some off...but we had approx. 15 other rigs show up, at various intervals, that weren't registered as well.

Awesome people, lots of door prizes, sweet 4x4's, good conversation...and good food!

I'd like to give shout out kudos to our awesome sponsors for this show:
  • CarQuest of Wasilla
  • Spenard Shell / A&W
  • Tailgater's Sports Grill
  • WARN
  • Moose Customs
  • Autokrafters of Wasilla
  • And our awesome club members who donated food, drinks, condiments, ice, coolers, shelters, plates, tables, chairs, RTI ramp, etc.

Many clubs were represented, and conversations ranged from 4x4's to motorcycles to puppies and babies...including most everything in between.

Thanks to all who participated in the show and behind the scenes...it is greatly appreciated and an excellent tune up for Meet & Greet next month.

Enough rambling...here's pictures!

Sorry I couldn't make it. I even had the black CJ polished and shiney after last weekend, but I've spent the day at the office, and will have to spend tomorrow here too.

Was a good time, had fun. Got to meet some new people, and see old faces again. Will make it to the next years for sure!

Had a great time. Thanks for the invite. It was great getting to know some new folks. Some I haven't seen since Meet and Greet next year. Can't wait to hit some trails with y'all.

Wish I remembered to bring my camera. Great stuff.
Thanks.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Did get a chance to check out some of the rigs with the wife and buy some stuff at the store. We did manage to get a good run in at Buffalo Mine though afterwards

Thanks for putting on a great event again guys
