Tony Wildman 6 Pos. chip, custom burned, very awesome chip, Eco,daily, tow, street, extreme, and smoke tunes. I used to have a TS chip and it sucked, so I sent it into tony for custom tunes and what a difference, you cant beat custom burned tunes by a pro like Tony Wildman, cool thing about Tony's tunes is you can send it in any time to get reburned at NO charge, say if you get stage 2 injectors, Beans D66 turbo, fuel system, etc...he will reburn for free for those new mods. this is on a 99 7.3 Superduty. http://www.totaldieselperformance.com/ DP and Tony Wildman are the way to go on a 7.3L but dont forget your gauges first..

im getting some ddp4 injectors for the 12 valve, i dont think the hx40 will be able to keep things cool enough, time for a real turbo or maybe 2? I might as well just get a twin disc clutch now, instead of later.

South bend and i was even looking at Valair, but i would rather spend the bucks and get the south bend 3600 6 hub clutch, i think it is? Im pretty sure it is good enough for twins and even shifts pretty good.

Best tank I even had was 18mpg running from Mtn Home to Pocatello doing 80-85mph the whole way. I guess I had a good tail wind or something.

I had a 99 F250 Supercab LB power stroke with a Superchip on the middle setting and got an average 20mpg from Portland to Salt Lake. Typically I only got 15-17 My 98 Dodge 2500 Quad SB Cummins that Nate owns, got anywhere from 6(hauling 10-12K up the Alcan) to 15mpg unloaded. It also ate 2 trannies. Both had between 116K and 140k on them and were abuse by ranchers.

SCT programmer due to it being completely tuneable and have the ability to shop around for custom tunes. My mileage on the street tune from Anchorage to Fairbanks was 19.3 and that was with a load in the bed probably near a thousand lbs. I had just started to get the tranny shifting where I wanted it on the my looney tune to right before winter but I haven't had the chance to run it wide open where I really want to so I can't give ya the real numbers on that tune but hopefully I should be able to get it dialed in and run it at the palmer strip this summer.

I own a 04.5 Dodge 3500 SRW crew cab long bed. It is bone stock besides having a K&N dropped in the factory air box, 4" MBRP exhaust from the turbo back. The cat has been removed also. I have a Edge Juice with Attitude module but have yet to install it. I drive about 50% city and 50% highway.

I average 14-15 mpg which comes out to about 450 miles per tank. The best I ever got was last fall going to western kansas. It is about a 4 hour drive and 250 miles to the inlaws house. I drove by myself and didn't stop going either way with the cruise control set on 80MPH and got 582 miles before I filled up and at that point the fuel light was on!! That is 18.77 MPG. I think that 20 MPG is completely possible with the right mods.

I have the Edge juice on my 03' Duramax. I drove from Palmer to eureka and back to Kenai, I got 18.8 mpg, but the overhead said 21.7. I was running position 2 mostly. I used to run postion 4 alot and got 16mpg when driving to anchorage, had to pass everybody. Not anymore, too many 'highway patrol' cars out there, which is a good thing.

06 GMC LBZ with Banks Six Gun Speed Loader and Power PDA. I have the Monster Duals, tossed the cat, and run the Banks Ram Air intake. 8inch lift on 38's getting 15-17 mpg empty and towing 8000# 10-12mpg. "Calculated" I cant complain. I run it on setting 3 or 4 most of the time. I am sure there are other units out there that make more power, and whatever, but bang for the buck is good, Quality is top tier, the Banks kit generally wont be regarded as something that will Void your warranty, the tunes are basically smokeless, and the power PDA is killer. Using the Palm, I can scan/read and reset all the codes, it even tells me what the codes mean. The Palm can be used to store music, videos, movies, pics, and whatever on the SD card, theres a calendar and other software built into it that you can use to store maintenance notes about your truck, and all that a typical PDA can do. Its pretty cool if you are into gadgets. The PDA's digital guage display is my opinion the "cheapest" and coolest digital display I've seen when you consider that Racepak gets 1200 smacks for a dash that is a plain black LCD that looks like 80's technology, Hypertech, and Edge are a blue screen and this is a full color touch screen and has graphs, and alerts and user adjustable alarms, 0 to 60 computer, 1/4 mile time trials and whatever else you could want. For somebody who wants to install it and "not" mess with it, and not argue about warranty Banks is a good choice.
(Now that GM is reorganizing I am not sure how the warranty deal is working, but I had NO trouble in the past)

I think for all out-power I hear PPE is the best for a Duramax, but I am just going off what other people say.

I have a programmer i am trying to sell that i took off of my 6.0l 2004 ford powerstroke. It pull crazy power and with the combination of a cold air intake it made it very responsive and it did not ever need to shift on a hill. I crunched the number when it was time to get a new vehicle and I had to get a gas rig. but I miss the crazy power of the diesel.

I still really like my DP, but if your planning on upgrading parts in the future I think theres another that offers free re-flashes. TS maybe? Tony 'Wildman' seems to ring a bell... check in over @ FTE, lots of 7.3 info over there.

yeah i have heard both the tony wildman and the DP are about the same as far as performance with wildman being cheaper to upgrade later with opther upgrades but the DP is a little nicer with more available positions and a digital interface instead of the old knob style wildman uses. i am leaning toward the DP becuas ei dont plan on ever modding my truck other than intake exaust and little things cause i dont have the money to get tooo crazy with it and mine is kind o fhigh miles so i dont want to push it too much.
