An absolute ABOMINATION!! And I thought the Jeep Compass my wife wanted was bad. Thank God she opted for the Grand Cherokee.

I think Rubicon express has some serious engineering to deal with! I thought I had to build some long arms for the BII! good luck, RE!

I have seen photochops of them sitting on 35's and they look pretty good. The 2wd thing though...a "Wrangler" with 2wd is a sad thing.

theres a good portion of wranglers that never use their 4wd. and I dont really mind the looks, I'm not that shallow

my wife wants one - I think it would be great - how about the Liberty Diesel option ? that would be even cooler.

Man you guys are haters, I think they look cool. It's kind of like the Defender 110 that we can't get but not as cool. If they made a Rubicon version you could put a long arm kit and winch bumper on and be done. All you current wrangler owners are just jealous because you don't even have room for an extra pair of shoes (Gary) in the back of you rig when you go wheeling.

To me, it doesn't look like a live front axle. I also think building a non-4x4 short-wheelbase Jeep is an abomination (the 4x2 is also available on the 2-door). I was looking at the Jeep website after I got my monthly Quadratec email to check out the specs on these things and I can't say I'm impressed, at least not yet.

Thumbs up Re: 2007 Wrangler 4 Door

I TOOK THE 4 DOOR AT LITHIA JEEP ON TUDOR FOR A SPIN THIS WEEK AND MAN IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THEN ANY OTHER WRANGLER I HAVE BEEN IN. IT HAD ROOM FOR 32'S W/OUT CUTTING OR MODDING. IT HAD A TON OF USEABLE SPACE IN THE RIG AND IS A LOT BETTER LOOKING UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. I DEFINETLY WOULD BUY A 4 DR RUBICON... CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THOSE. DINO

LOTS OF ROOM UNDER THE HOOD FOR A DIESEL OR V-8

They've got a little 1/2hr show running on speed channel now with a test drive on the rubicon unlimited model. I went and looked at a normal one at the dealer and wasn't displeased. I think I'll pass as I haven't been able to keep the water out of my 1 piece TJ top - don't need 3 pieces & seams running overhead. Maybe if I didn't live in an Alaskan rainforest I might consider it for the family, I like a lot of the improvements though. Definitely looks roomy when looking through the rear tailgate area. Front humongous bumper would have to go.

"Speed Test Drive" is the show

Are you saying you no longer work as a Jeep salesman then? Do you still work at Lithia at all?

Yes I Work At Lithia. Great Company, Just Not A Salesman. I Was Not Trying To Get People To Buy The 4 Door, I Was Making The Statement That The Rig Is A Very Nice One, Good Job By The Boys At Jeep. And In Person, Yes, It Looks A Lot Better... The Drive Is Excellent As Well..
