Default DIY double beadlock rims (new)

These are going to be the third evolution of home made double beadlock rims that I have made.

Version #1:
Dual rockstomper style clamp beadlocks

Version #2:
Home made insert double beadlocks

THIS is version 3.

These will be almost exactly like version #2. The difference is that I will be starting with a RIM BLANK so there will be a lot less cutting and welding. I am also going to use a steel tubing insert instead of plastic.

More later...

These look like they will clear 1 ton calipers.

Right Gus?

Here are my beadlock inserts. I'm making them out of steel tubing.

Here is the blank rim. I'm going to cut it in half and weld some stuff to it.

you know Grant, no matter how often you tried to tell me how these were going to work, I missed it entirely. Seeing the bent arcs makes it clear finally. Ok - cool, I think it will work.
