Default Eureka caribou run

4-day trip into Eureka. Went in the day before opening to get past the crowds and into the caribou before they got pushed out. Plan worked out well. Filled six permits, and had a great time with family and friends. Things got exciting when we had some minorities shooting over our tents. I thought my father in law was going to rip one of their heads off when they passed by our camp and watched their wounded animal get away...

Saw 500-1000 caribou. Ate some fresh caribou heart, sautéed with onions and it was bomb.
