Default " Extra Value Without Paying the Extra Price."

Don't know if anyone has seen this before. I was looking for a replacement gas tank for my CJ-8, and I came across this article about the gas tanks in 1991 through 1995 Jeep Wranglers. Seems that Chrysler cut some corners while building them, and a a result made the fill vent tube extend down into the tank. causing the gas pump to think the tank is shallower than it actually is and turn off before the tanks was full.

Here is the article and HOWTO: to get that fixed, and get a few more miles out of your Jeeps: http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/fuel/15to20gal/

Take Care,

Ash
