A tube framed rig using the above mentioned vehicles would likely be light enough to not experience differential problems with tires under 30"

OTOH, anything can be destroyed by excessive application of the skinny pedal.

Wiper issues with flat windshields can be resolved by using early CJ electric wiper conversion kits (<$100) or similar deals for boats (probably more $$$$)

Heaters like Webasto, Stewart Warner, Mojave, South Wind or Cat cab heaters.

IRS/IFS transaxle suspension travel is limited only by your imagination and your (proven) fab skills.

I just looked at a trailer at RePetes that has independent suspension and a transverse leaf spring!!!!!. Interesting!
