Wish I had known you were buying from them. I could use ONE bulb for the start button on my Lotus but don't want to pay the ~$10 in shipping.

That seems a little outrageous? I think I paid like 4$ for shipping

Nice. Are you going to make a build thread? It'd be nice to see more jeeps on here

I'm still up in the air on how long i plan to keep teh XJ. It was ment to be a stepping stone originally til the wifes car was paid off then i was going to buy a JK Unlimited for myself. Now that we have her JKU I've had teh urge to sell the XJ for another diesel pickup for a tow rig.

I will however have to make a build here. Keep an eye out!

How do you like those mt/r's? I had them with the old tread pattern. I was going to get a new set in 35s this spring.

Notched the Rubicon Express cross member

No more exhaust or t-case rubbing

I never did put up pictures of the long arms

It's been about 200 miles on the new kit so I went threw and was checking to make sure all the bolts and nuts were still tight

I found 2 (driverside and passengers side same bolt) loose bolts

When I loosen it the bolt it backs out, when I tighten it gets snug then just spins. What should I do about that?

Nice gift! Lol. I actually don't get up there for another loooooong 8 months.

As for your bolt in the cross member. Have you thought about building a dropout setup like Clayton? Just so you can weld the axle brackets to the unibody for more strength, but leave the center section removable for maintenance.

I keep gettin these "build" ideas that make me want to keep the Cherokee, a long arm setup with a custom 3-piece cross member is one of those build ideas.

Yes I thought about having a new crossmember made.

I might just take a 1" hole saw and go threw the top of the unibody (inside the cab) to gain access to the nut.
