Finally installed the RC shackle relocaters.

Gained 1.5" from them. That puts me almost level with the re5.5" springs up front. Should I install the re4.5" leafs in the rear?

RE leaf pack vs Aal:

I was thinking about pulling a leaf or two from the RE leafs. Trail and error will be the best bet on this one I think.

I'd do something to fix those bent rear springs. Looks like they are going to break at anytime.

They've never given me any issues and they've been like that since I added the AAL. Ill be swapping in the RE leafs as soon as my new u-bolts get in.

Nice addition! I'd definitely look into swapping those 4.5" leafs in sooner then later.

I was looking at doing a set of TSL on mine, but didn't know how they would do in the snow.

I had 36" tsl's on Commando and f150 spencer bought never had single prob in snow, again on ice was diff matter but controlling wheelspin and sliding with a manual trans was simple. Had lots of fun on those heavy snowfalls at end of april 2 yrs ago

Looks real good. Your gonna have a lot of trimming to do in order to see full flex potential. Have you thought about going up another inch or 2.

lol now thats a funny story.... when mobbins and i bought that parts jeep at the end of last summer, it had a RE 7.5 inch long arm lift on it. but he didnt want it "at the time" ive seen his jeep when he didnt even want to trim his front fenders so the tires wont rub. now hes hacking up body pannels cuttin in vents on the hood and boring a 3 inch hole in the front fender for a snorkel. i can only guess whats next????

It'll get bigger eventually. Right now I drive it whenever I can. With the bias TSLs I can't go over 55 (about 65 according to GPS). I need something more dd friendly. if they were radials I'd be golden.

Where'd you get them balanced? I might have to get them rebalanced again. Also how'd they balance them?

Balancing... whats that. these aren't balanced. I had a set of 38's each with 2 packs of beads in them. They did great!! The 42's only have a little wheel hop at 45-50 otherwise they are good.

Did some measuring for new shocks:

Rear opened up to about 27" with about 2" extra room

Compressed to about 19.5 with about 2" of extra room

Fronts open is about 26"

The shocks I'm looking at are the Bilstein 5125s. Model #33-185569. They compress to 17.91" and open to 29.7"

Got this fancy new Aircon panel. It'll let more light through than the stock panel for my LEDs.

The parts jeep I got my RE lift kit from came with a NP231. After trouble shooting for the last 5 months I figured out the issue. The transmission mount from belly skid.

Old on the left new on the right

Sitting in place

I can shift into 4wd on the fly again! The damage to the tcase is done tho. I'm picking up another NP242 for $100 hopefully tomorrow.
