I swapped in a tilt steering collum. It also has the option for intermitant wipers and cruise control.

Anyone ever converted a xj that only had high-low settings to being able to have intermitant settings? still works fine on the high or low settings but does nothing when set to intermitant.

Soon as I get an adjustable track bar and a couple days off work I'll get those coils in.

As usuall had some fun with it.

Got a temp. bumper on it, cops had their pantys in a wad about me not having one.

Debadged the jeep the rest of the way, sanded nd primed everything but the doors and roof. I think another day of prep and it will be ready for some paint.

Im in the middle of buying a 99' mercury cougar off my buddy.. so my jeep funds are going to be empty tell I have the car paid off in a couple weeks. I figured its time to buy a good on gas DD.

With that small of lift, you don't need an adjustable trac bar. Next time your in town, stop over and look at the cheap/quick way to do it.

Looks good bud. What did you come up with for actual lift height? 3-3.5"?

I'm not 100% sure, the springs are actually the same length as stock springs but are a lot stiffer so they don't sag as much. I do know theres 7" of clearance between my tire and the fender, but that doesn't mean much when my fenders are trimmed. I'll have to crawl under it and take some measurements tomorrow.

looks about 3" even with the fenders trimmed. trim them a little more and you can run a narrow set of 33's

Measured out to be 3 1/8" lift in the front.. Rear needs to come up about an inch, some good stock rear springs should do the trick. Also going to order up a non low profile shackle relocate kit which should give it a little more height to.

After I get new-er springs for the rear, I'm going to bump stop it and start looking for 33s and some 8" wide rims.

Started painting, I'll finish the hood roof and hatch when I get more paint.

I need a new driver side door, this one is pretty rusty.... So I painted over the rust so it will at least match tell I find a replacement.

Left town for a few weeks, so we decided to go for a quick trip to find some mud last night. Couldn't find much, but had fun either way.

Went and picked these up.

So then I needed some 8" wide rims..

Got these for $40.

I blew the ps hose on my last tip out which made a mess of everything under the hood, so got a new one.

I'm going to swap the tires onto my new rims tomorrow, then ill figure out how much I need to bump stop it.

Went wheelin and Crunched both front fenders but did no damage to the tires. The plan is fiberglass prerunner style fenders with large wheel openings.
