Nice work. Im part way through a SAS on my 03 xterra. Was wondering what master cylinder you ended up using. Also is that the stock steering box, and what pitman arm did you use.

Thats a good idea. Bit over kill for a small puller

Don't know how many times I've cussed at my D44 hubs trying to get them out.

That is a 93 Toyota Landcruiser box/arm. The stock master works ok.. matters which axles you end up using.

I can't count how many of those little warn bolts i have bent trying to pull out the hub
It did end up big.. however it needs for fit outside the hub in order for the warn to pull out.
The stub shaft has a threaded hole in the end, so the puller bolt needs to be bigger.
Non the matter is works well so far..

It pulls using the little bolts from the hub or the one big center bolt. The center bolt works well for chromo shafts with a tight fit.

How did you end up getting the tube connected to the center? 0.375"?

The center section is from a 79 Ford Bronco with the cast wedges. They have 3inch tubes. With a chance we may be moving up I am trying to do projects with material that is readly available in Anchorage. So the new tubes are actually 3 inch schedule 80 pipe. After a little cleaning up of the original tubes the pipe presses on fairly tight.

Started picking at it again...

The ducting from the snorkel to the air cleaner box is always jacked up. This is an attempt to open up the connection between the two.

Started a new set of sliders...

Fear slipping with these bear traps...

Frame-side mounts

If a guy was ever going to install a body lift after making the sliders... the sliders could be lifted too.
I am not a body lift fan, so these will stay put...
(Matter of fact this had a 3 inch body lift when I bought it at the Dealers Auto Auction in Anchorage.. couldn't get those spacers out of there fast enough.)

It turned out fine. Thanks

The original factory holes on the right.. and the placement for the extra holes on the left. The two upper holes are above the frame.

Placed and welded... now time to attach slider...

Slider finished ... six bolts per stanchion ...

How they should look off the assembly line...

Nah... it's too fun to build something.

I have a love/hate relationship with those SSR's, but they look awesome!
