A spare would be nice to have along but not possible when they are that size and the rig is that size. I guess I could drag a trailer around behind me but were would the fun be in that?

build a strong roof rack or bumper carrier, i think i will create a rack for over the rear cargo area for my 44 spare on the bronco

After having a roof rack on this past hunting season I dont think I want to keep it on. Those things are tree magnets. I would have to install chainsaws on each side of my truck to keep a roofrack up there.

Great write up!! A lot of adventures and amazing memories made!

My old horse is under the knife as we speak after spending 4 years in storage while we were in Germany. What base were you stationed at?

I was stationed at Ft Benning GA, Friedberg Germany and Ft Richardson AK. Got lucky and only did a few moves during my time in the Army.
