What's recommended for 6.0 PSD? What have you used?

We used one made by Rotunda (Ford Div.) about $3k as I recall, recommended By Power Stroke of Alaska.

Shack: that old Rontunda is out dated, doesn't work on stuff past 2002/03ish. The IDS is the replacement for it.

I personally have a snap on solus, I know a few people with the snap on modis, they both are good tools, but come with a price.

Napa sells, or used to sell, a scan tool made by OTC called the genyses (sp). They had different levels you could buy it.

It comes down to what do you want it to do for you and how much you want to spend.

Scout , I'm not surprised the one we used is outdated, that was at least 15 years ago. I haven't been involved as a Maintenance Manager since 2004. I've been working for three companies as a spill consultant since then.

Snap On MT2500 is what I have though the newest cartridge is early 2000s. The Solus/Modis replaced it I think?

I haven't used that particular one, but I've used similar ones, it was some years back. They were cool when they came out for the refresh rate, but aftermarket scanners advanced and started getting better processors.

Are you wanting to read and clear codes, and/or watch live data?
