Getting it ready for the drive up the highway... much easier to install these parts then try to drag them up on a trailer. If everything works out it will be living in Palmer soon.

Front axle buttoned up... time to cut!

HP 44 from a 70's Ford. Long side is cut down 4 inches and the short side is 2 inches longer. Makes a 63 wide axle with the pinion centered on the output of the Xterra tcase.

The knuckles are from an 82 Jeep Wagoneer. (6 lug)

This is the first time I have attached so much tube and plate together.. with the tubing wanting to warp I had to weld here and there to avoid it getting out of control... so close up the patched together welds show up. However they are bumpers and will be all bent up sooner or later anyway.

That's cool! You cut all that out my hand? What is "POMS"? I haven't been to school in almost 15 years so I'm sure things have changed a bit

Couple years ago I fired a paving contractor for saying that. I wanted them to put plastic against the house so they wouldn't get sealer all over it. Your being too picky... it's good enough... "I won't see it from my house"...

Caught them complaining to each other when they thought I was gone about me wanting them to mask off the lawn too. Well maybe I was a "fawking a$$hole" and a "d!ckhead" that day, but I didn't need to hear it behind my back. and yes.. .please mask off the lawn... ahahaha!

Huh...really...well pack your crap and leave"

Ended up getting a sealing job for almost free, their boss came and did it personally.

Spent yesterday running a new exhaust system that will allow another fuel tank to be mounted on the driver side. 38 gallons should be a good start...
