very cool project.

as far as pics, you can resize like you've done. I use photobucket and copy/paste links into the posts. I like it because the pics are all the same size. When I upload direct to the forums they are all different sizes and can make reading a pain. An example of that are the flatbed drawings I uploaded.

One of our members "Alaskangoodoleboy" real name Josiah, has a lot of experience with these engines, probably others as well. Good luck!

I am parting out the rest of the 01 2500HD, all body panels are in good condition. Its a 4 door. Please let me know if anyone wants to buy them, I could use the money for the axles and steering mods.

base of engine mounts built. Does anyone know how far I should drop them? The book that I got says that they were 1 inch too high for the fan. I think that I should just drop it 1 inch and do a custom cross member. Let me know what you think.

no replies, so I think I will just start with what the book says then adjust from there. Its a lot better to take out steel, rather than replace it. I would rather go with the competition style motor mounts in the long run, but right now, I just need a starting point.

I got the motor in. The engine mounts worked great, but the motor did not clear the oil pan. In some threads that I have looked at, guys are modifying the oil pan? why, when you can just build a new cross member? Its a lot less invasive and no tig welding required. I was going to uses tube steel and copy ORD's design, but since it is a strait across shot, I think it would be better to use some channel. I am also in need of a drivers side diff dana 60, preferably a ford leaf sprung, king pin, dana 60. If anybody knows where I could get one, that would be awesome.

I have a nice chevy, king pin, dana 60, that I can get rid of if I can find the ford dana 60 that I need.

started sandblasting. I was going to use por15, but got tired of the jerks that sale it. I'm going with an industrial rust inhibiting primer and a good industrial enamel, for way less money
