Default Ducks

Never been duck hunting before. What a kick in the pants! I don't know why I haven't ever done this before!

Had one fly directly at us, we shot, and it landed no more than ten feet past us. The dog was kinda bummed about such a short retrieve.

By the way, duck tastes like crap.

Soak it in Pepsi before you cook it, takes a lot of the game taste out.

Since we are on the duck recipes, my favorite is soaking milk in a bowl for the night, then cooking with mushroom soup and rice. I'm going to have to try the bacon/creole in the fryer. Anything+bacon=awesome.

I went out to Jim Lake yesterday, saw a ton of ducks, but the swans kept spooking when we got around, and that spooked the ducks. Didn't get any, but found some great spots for next time.
