Grant-o-vations Building something crazy? Trying something totally out of the box? Post it here. Lets see what all those wacky minds are doing out there. These posts should be somewhat technical in nature, but dont necessarily have to be 4x4 related.

Default pulling multiple thoughts togather

seems like the crazy thinkers have been out of thoughts for a while, or off the board... but...

ive been pondering ideas that many here have visited and after reading this whole section a couple times ive got some thoughts that mite be a bit off but thats why im posting.

the ideas are pertaining to 6x6 drive train, mentioned in other threads were both direct drive and hydrolic drive. ive been looking at these for a while now and have a plan-o-action for what im going to do but would like some input on other thoughts ive beenlookn at.

ill start with direct drive most of the ideas i had have been visited but a couple of points have been missed... drop box...similar to what usa 6x6 has but configure to use as a t case. and the idea of toy front ifs axles are availible rhdrop and lhdrop with the same internals witch would be usefull in a dual tcase setup, would also alow for 2w/rwd, 4wd rear and your choice of front or mid, and 6wd. the idea could be as basic as adding a tcase and front diff/ifs to an existing toy

hydro drive (not much experiance here)major problem being speed... could it be geard after the drive unit say a reverse mounted planetary?
