Anyone use the Voodoo Medical Pack? I looked at one at a gun show today. Really like the way it looks and the organization for a medical kit. Was wondering if anyone was using one.

Voodoo gets a bad rep from what I've read on the net, checked out some of their stuff at Dropzone a couple years back and it seemed decent. Cheaper Than Dirt has a few nice looking EMT molle pouches you might want to check out. Only things special in my kit are around 6 misc. suture sets, a couple of large pressure bandages, and some quik-clot. I figure if you experience a firearm accident/bear attack, it might be necessary to do field sutures, especially if rescue/return to civilization is not imminent/assured.

I haven't used the voodoo medical kit. But I have used some of their other products and we teach combat medics and combat life savers with some of them.

Voodoo was started up by some former SF guys from the army. there is some experience in there when creating the products but at the same time it is a business.

Medical kits are good expecially if you don't have access to get some of the items. But they seem to always have a bunch of stuff you don't need and not enough of what you do. Usually it cost more cause you buy the stuff you want and add to it.

Oh I was meaning just the "pack" not the contents. I looked at one at the gun show this weekend and really like the lay out. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with their stuff and how it holds up.

Oh ok. Well I've never used their bags just other accessories in combat and all worked well. They seem a little spendy to me. Search around. I've bought a few and for way less. Also check around with military guys. It's amazing at what turns up free sometimes.
