Nice yota, FinnO.

Jez, correct me if I'm wrong, but your yellow rig... hacked, chopped, and puree'd Range Rover panels? Your B/C pillar, and doors especially, resemble Rover bits.

hi guys....just joined up and wanted to say how great this board is.....racinghoss steered me in your guys' way. him and i met on his way up to anchorage. let's see.....i've got a 99 tj...about 45k miles.....so far the only thing i've done to it is a RE bb and a fabtech steeringbox armor. i ride on 32x11.5's, with a 4.0 and 5 speed. with plenty more stuff to come this summer(hopefully).

i'm in the guard and come to ft. rich on occasion.......usually for my 2 weeks a year.......and didn't realize that the stryker trails could be used by the public...that's sweet. we don't have hardly any trails here in juneau.....and the couple we do have are used by teenagers who party on them and leave their crap all over.....so my friends and i avoid them. living in juneau sucks that way.

Default No sleep, no sleep, no sleep,

Thanks for the welcome guys,

AK ORD wish your grandparents "dobre dien" from me :-) the picture with the combat Rangie is in the Low Tatra mountains in Slovakia - its the Slovenski Rai. Really pretty woods and not a lot of people

Dman357 Zuzana is learning to weld but still got a way to go yet but give her a semi-auto shotgun and then she shines

RTCUL8 - Rangies (range rovers) are my preferred car to chop, they are almost free over here, this one cost me a couple of hundred pounds and we have a lot of cheap parts to chop up and raid - its the reason Im not getting a lot of sleep at the moment because the yellow wagon MUST be wired fired and rolling to get to Russia for the 27th for the Ladoga challenge.

I could quite happily bore the crap out of you with pictures of cut and modded Range Rovers and Land Rovers - not quite in the league of Mr Green yet but maybe one day.... ;-)

Hey out of interest do you guys run on board compressors? if so how much wallop do you get? we have a system that makes 8cfm at 160psi but I wondered if you had something bigger ?

Big Bigger Best - evolution

Cheers

Jez

semi auto shotgun? Your interests include hunting? I thought you guys had nothing left but rocks hunt with.

It would almost be worth having nothing but rocks to hunt with if I could get a hand-pulled pint of Black Sheep mmmmm. I did some motorcyle riding on around Yorkshire, Wales, and up into Scotland just a bit, before heading for the Alps. Your skinny roads were a BLAST

over 8cfm? while maintaining 160? wow pretty powerful. the best local on-board air seems to be the converted air conditioning compressors - plenty cfm for air tools - or there are the CO2 tanks - lots and lots of volume.

I enjoyed the boring pics - link more!

Hi all! It's great to see a board with a bunch of alaskans on it!

I am living in Fairbanks, trying to figure a way to ship my jeep up from Ketchikan. Hope to meet some of you in person and it looks like the board is a good place to hang out (until I get my jeep here anyway!)

My jeep is a 77 CJ5, warmed up 304, t-18, D44's, 35's, power steering + brakes. Not driveable yet, still need to finish the brakes, and fab some nice outboard spring brackets. The body is a cancerous mess, but a new tub is somewhere soon down the road.

Hello from New Mexico. My name is Black Bart.
I maintain, repair and modify a fleet of 15 4wd vehicles, and a small herd of heavy equipment on my folks ranch in central New Mexico.
My buddy bigun said that some of the baddest vehicles and four wheelers on the planet are on this site, so I wanted to see for myself. Shore nuff.
Ill be lurking about hoping to glean some extreme terrain 4X4 building info from ya'all.
