Default tire mounting

What is your guys' oppinion about mounting a 35x12.5 trxus mt on a 8.5" wide rim??? i cant seem to find any rims 10 wide with out buying them new and i have a set that are 8.5 in the yard.

the specs on the tire say you can but im not sure

I'd prefer and 8.5 wide over 10 wide

It will work no problem! I've have mounted 12.5 on 8". Tire will just seem taller.

Are the trxus a true 12.5"/w tread width?

ok well im kinda pissed now because i just went and looked and there actualy 15" rims not 16 so looks like im still lookin
