Looks good. One thing you'll want to deal with if you ever decide to go to bigger tires, is the steering. The drag link is notoriously weak, and will fold on you, especially at that angle.
Add a piece of angle iron to it to reinforce it, especially at the bend. Or if you can afford it, get away from that style all together. The high steer kits for those aren't too expensive, and will save you big time headaches down the road. I got mine from Ballistic Fab. I think including the DOM tubing and tie rods, it was cheaper than replacing with stock components... Again, good looking build and congrats and dumping the d44 ttb crap... ![]() Heres the build thread on mine if it helps or for ideas... http://www.matsuvalleyohv.com/vbforu...thread.php?t=4 Also, here is a good source for flat top knuckles for your 44 if you decide to go that way... http://www.reidracing.biz/DANA44.php Last edited by TonyM; 07-29-2010 at 11:12 AM. Reason: Add link for knuckles |
