Default STOLEN- 2002 xcsp 700

My sled was stolen two days ago, keep an eye out for a red 2002 xcsp 700. All black seat, MBRP race can, fly risers and fly areo taperd bars, red bar pad and a red bar bag. ripped carb boot on left cylinder, dakine sticker on left side, MBRP stickers on the front, moose in the state of alaska sticker above the guages, klim stickers, missing track lugs on right side, yellow front bumper, hood vents and springs.

My grandmother noticed a truck infront of the house around 4am the day before it was stolen, they left when she turned the lights on.
She said it had a red bed, I beleave a black cab and grey (primer?) front fender.

If you see this sled please get ahold of me at 907-982-9885 my name is Garrett thank you.
I dont have much but I am sure I can come up with a reward for the person that finds my sled.

My sled is totally trashed, but I do have it back. Troopers cought the thiefs

Right from the AST website.

with Physical Evidence x3

Text: On 11-22-11, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a
stolen snowmachine in the Wasilla area. Investigation revealed Kyle
Jensen (22 YOA) of Wasilla, Christopher Stanley (20 YOA) of Wasilla and
a 17 YOA juvenile of Wasilla, had previously stolen two snow machines in
the Wasilla and Big Lake area. The snow machines were later recovered
and returned to their owner's. Jensen was arrested and remanded at the
Mat-Su Pre-Trial facility on $2,500 bail. Charges are being forwarded
against Stanley and the juvenile for prosecution.

I acually went to high school with Kyle Jensen, and he ripped me off when I sold him my prox 440 back when I was around 18. He showed up with $1,700 cash and said he would pay the other $600 when he could... I figured no big deal known the dude sence middle school.. Never did see him after that, and now he jacked my sled.
I had a hunch that Chris stanley stole my sled before I had even talked to the troopers. He added me on facebook right about the time my sled was stolen, and I seen pictures of a nice looking prox on there. Seen the same prox on CL being reported as stolen. went and looked at his facebook and those pictures were then gone, so I knew he was a thief from the get go.

Sorry it's trashed, they only had it a few days and messed it up that bad. Hopefully, you can get it back up and running without investing too much.

That sucks, was it insured?

I got pulled over on the way back from petersville friday night. Had a headlight out, The cop said he wouldn't have pulled me over but I had 4 snow machines in tow. He said they are pulling people over for almost any reason that have machines. Because of a rash of machines being stolen right now.

I got a $100 ticket for the truck having expired regestration (Thanks dad! ). Almost got a $500 ticket also because I couldn't find the current insurance card in the truck.... That would have been an expensive trip, not to mention the $200 in gas and food/beer at the lodge.

No insurance. Hopfully the law of restitution will help me out.
Sence I got the sled back I have replaced the carb boots, exhaust manifold gakits and exhaust valve gaskits. It runs great.

But the bulkhead has dents and a gouge in it, the running boards bent on the left side, the left trailing arms bent, the left front shock is bent, hood is sanded everywhere there was a sticker so there are pits in it and is painted black, ingitions broken, bar pad is gone, bar bag is gone, guages and headlight were removed from hood & dont have the mounting hardware, the plastic peace and foam for under the headlight is gone, bolts for the seat are gone, bolts for the hood hinges are gone, rear bumper is gone, front bumper mounting hardware is gone & is painted black, was missing the radius rod bolts and shock bushins on left side but I replaced them sence I got it back, track is tore up big time, they sanded the tub to remove the stickers (only got half way removing those) and it looks like sh!t, I'm sure theres more but thats just what I can think of off the top of my head.

crdude,
Sorry for the damage to your sled.
Sadly, as Bronco alluded to, this is a sign of the times both economic and social. History shows us that as times get financially trying, crime rates go up. As society grows more apathetic and is willing to let the courts become social engineers, this is also the result.
There is some hope though, the courts are handing out longer suspended sentences!!!!! LOL

I wonder if these co<ksuckers took my 700 rmk back in 04? No word from the troopers all these years so far.

Consider yourself lucky you got it back.

Both those kids are pieces of $hit and always have been... nothing but worthless thieves. I have dealt with the chris kid and kyle they were trying to sell me a stolen rev, I called the troopers on them but for some odd reason they didnt do anything. I would sue them if I were you.
