Default Guess it was my TURN!

Seriously, ALL my effin antlers?! Who does that? Because they probably didn't mean anything to me, or I didn't earn them....

11 full moose shed sets (both sides)
7 odd ball moose antlers
1 left side 7x elk
1 6x6 elk, crown skull only
2 each double shovels, full skulls
5 right side misc boo's
3 left side misc boo's
5 whitetail skulls with racks, nothing huge
2 blacktail shulls with racks, 1 6 point and 1 8 point
30? misc whitetail sheds, some very impressive

These have sat on display against the front of my house for 5 years! Sometime today, in broad DAYLIGHT and my wife and mom in the house, had time to dig them ALL out of the snow. I just may kill my dog... But then, that would just be one more thing to cry about. I don't even want to walk out back and look at my trailer. I dropped my tailgate and put the 2 moose antlers I had left on it. I dare them... ONCE, shame on me.. TWICE.....

Can not be replaced items. Low life's.... I'm gonna go push a pebble around with my boot and wait for them to come back now.

Tanner's? Because thats pretty much all his job is. That and act like a 110 lb rug! He knows somethings up too, he won't even look at me. But he's been right by my side since I got home.

I've got pictures of your car and some of them in the background. But you wouldn't notice if someone painted you house for a week! As long as they did a good job.

Where would I go to look for such items? I plan on hitting Alaska Fur in the morning.

The moose and boo antlers are valuable, the rest of the stuff is pretty much worthless in Alaska. $6-10 per lb on the moose and boo depending on a few factors. These ********s stealing antlers unload them to buyers that advertise on craigslist. They may not be stupid enough to actually advertise what they have for sale on cragslist but it's possible. No question your best bet is to contact anyone buying antler on craigslist and have them watch out for your stuff.

I called the two main ones on CL and they wouldn't let me come look. I shouldn't of told them what happened...

Sorry you've been violated, it's a crappy feeling.

It's not only the point that someone else took something that wasn't there's. There is no way for me to replace those items. And it's not like they couldn't of known that...

Actually no one is going to go let you look over the antlers they have been buying so you can try to make them the victim and lose money instead of you. Where is your proof that a particular set of antlers actually belonged to you. Are they engraved with your name or a number? We aren't talking truck parts here. No chance of recovery without proof they actually belonged to you.
Your only chance would be if a buyer had turned down some guy offering your collection and managed to get a license plate or name.
Antler theft is so common I'm surprised you would leave them laying outside. In the valley the thieves actually carry ladders and will steal the mounted ones off the outside of your house or garage.
It's a bummer all right, good luck.

I bought and sold antlers for a number of years. I would get or give a bill of sale and copy down their license plate number. Although it never happened I wouldn't let anyone who called up looking for stolen antlers come and pick through my thousands of dollars of antler either. Someone stole your gallon of water and you want to come look at my gallons of water. Where are your accurate pictures, weights, measurements and identifying marks? Then we will talk.
