Default tcase questions

So here is my situation I was given a 89 diesel burban which I want to take the d60/14b and put under my Dakota I assume the burban has a 205 tcase in it pass side drop I know

Q 1. Will the chevy 205 fit my 46re in my Dakota it has a 231hd in it now and it is the same spline as a 94 xj 231j for what that's worth I belive it was 23 spline

Q 2. if the tcase will not bolt up what would be the simplest/cheapest way to get to pass drop tcase .

No, it should have a 241. Depending on trans either 27 or 32 spline input.

Cut the tubes on the axle and make it driver's drop or use another axle, like the D60 I have for sale.
