Default Any Gas Engine OBDII Tuners in Anch/Valley?

Trying to find someone or a shop that can do simple plug tunes, as in deleting or changing set points and sensors on my stock PCM. I can do a mail order tune, but that isn't a guarantee if it will work. Trying to find someone local that could/would work with the truck and one thing at a time to see if we can narrow down some problems the truck is having.

Most people I have found are just diesel tuners, needing someone who could tune a 97 K1500. Most mail order tunes are 98+ now, or require the 0411 PCM swap.

Have you checked with Nick at underground? I know he does quite a bit of live tuning...

I've tried to contact them and haven't gotten any information. I will try again. I was hoping to find someone who had EFI Live or something similar that could do simple things, as I am not looking for a full tune. But if I have to resort to paying for a shop, I will. Its more of a troubleshooting process, than a tune for power and torque thing.

I don't know which programs Nick has. Alot of Standalone, pretty sure he's done some piggyback as well.
Hales Technical also does tuning, at least they did when they had a dyno (which Nick now has, small town).

Yeah I don't need a dyno tune so much as just a plug in reflash of my stock black box, and then to tune out some sensors and change a few parameters to test out some troubleshooting stuff. Trying not to drop half a paycheck on it, since I don't need horsepower gains, just trying to get the engine running right.

Trying to stay local, so if the changes in the PCM don't help, I can flash it back to stock and start back at square one. If I do a mail order, I lose out on 250+ and then still have a poorly running truck.

Seth at P3 Automotive in Wasilla, Nick at Underground in Los Anchorage

I'm not sure either can do Chevies, but worth asking them.

Oh yeah, forgot about Seth.
Might also try Nate at Pie-R. Wicked smart dude but not sure how many domestics he does.
He's the kind of guy that would teach himself how to fix your problem just because you mentioned it.

Yeah I hit up Underground again, so if I get a back from them I might try a tune, and if it works then go ahead and get a full tune.
