Default New 1911

Well i finally purchased my first 1911 after wanting one for a long time. It came in on tuesday so i got to go pick it up. Bought it used complete with the "Idiot Scratch" for almost $200 less than retail. It is a 2009 build Springfield 1911A1 Mil-Spec. Only thing i have done to it so far is add the hogue grip, and Wilson trigger.

That is one hell of an idiot scratch.

Do you have any more mods planned?

Yeah it is, looks like he put the pin all the way in clocked down then used the frame to ride it home

I do have some more mods planned when funds allow. I plan to replace the MIM parts with some quality ones. I also need to get a jig and some stones to do a trigger job on it. Threaded barrel, full length guide rod, maybe a magwell and possibly mill the slide for novaks, or at least upgrade the current ones with drop ins.
