Cost me $40 to go to your house and back! 7.9 MPG average in town 10.2 MPG average on the highway. Fa-Q and your little Jetta, go find a dead ten year boy. I put that thing on the scale and it's almost 10,000 lbs. That little 5.7L hemi moves it around ok, just likes to drink. About the same as anything else I can think of thats over worked. It was just past Gus and Patty's place.

That doesn't even make sense. I thought my truck was bad. When I drove up the ALCAN a few years ago, sitting at about 20,000lbs I got better than 10mpg

He's making more than good on the deal. The best part is, I didn't even ask. Would be nice if someone had a locker for it Then all would be good. It's only missing one thing that I wanted. FUNCTION! Has disk breaks, 3.73's, and a locker.

I didn't know it came from someone on here, though I see the post a few pages back now that I look at the whole thread. Figured you got it on one of trades through the shop.

What is the ratio on the diff in the truck? 3.23 and up will use the same carrier, could pull the open diff out of yours and replaced it for the G80 in the 3.73 diff. Weld up the spiders in it.

Either that are your looking at ~$450 for a Lock Right or $600ish for a Detroit.

$500 for that in any running condition was a steal! The body looks great.

With the I/M program supposedly going away for you Anchoragites, a V8 might be a nice choice in the future, you can build a decent fuel sipping 305 pretty cheaply, and I think the transmission you already have bolts right up with no problems.
