A friend of mine has shot consistent low 10s with his IRS and BFG drag radials. But he has also raced this set up for i can't remember how long. This shows its do able but with a solid rear its capable of doing low 10s and faster a lot easier.

I think he started swapping a solid 8.8 last summer. I'll have to double check.

Well with spring steadily approaching and the guy who makes the TVS adapter out of buisness for awhile I was forced to rethink my blower options. Went ahead and sold the tvs, going with a 3.4 whipple instead. Should be entertaining....

LOL sorry forgot about this one. Ended up putting on a 3.4 whipple, and there she sits in the garage. No one up here is decent for tuning and there is no fuel anyway. Don't want to be married to running race gas. I'm headed south this summer so I'll haul it as is and have it tuned for E85. Planning on sticking some ID1300 inj on it and the whipple crusher intake. With the 3.20 pulley it should be upwards of 25lbs of boost at near 800 hp at the wheels. Will post up what it makes this summer.

Look what followed me home! And the engine hoist worked perfectly to set the front car up over the winch. About 1/2" between them and the rear ones tires were sitting on the edge of the rear of the trailer. Front was a 6 cyl, rear is a 289/4speed. Front has ONE spot of rust the size of a baseball in the drivers side floor, the rest is perfect. The rear one needs floors, trunk, wheelhouses and quarters. Still def saveable though. Both are 2+2's. Engine/tranny is coming out of the rear one and that one is hopefully being sold as a roller. Front one is staying with me.

BTW Nasty pulled it better than I ever could have hoped. 45-60 all the way back from Wasilla. 30mph on the eagle river hill. With the cars and the weight added to the trailer (winch/crane/4' dovetail) she was pulling just over 8000 pounds.

Picked up a couple 351w blocks today. Trying to get one built and installed/running before the car leaves for the lower 48 next month. Here's the build:
Performer RPM ally heads. 60cc chambers/1.90/1.60/170cc runners
Flat top piston rebuild kit, with 60cc chambers it should run about 9.25 CR
Comp cams, Muther thumpr cam 279/297 .490/.475 107 LS, should be a lumpy *******
Roller tip Steel rockers
Rpm air gap intake
Edelbrock 650 yes I know a holley makes more power, but the edelbrocks are plug and play and are a much better street cruiser carb.
Hooker long tube headers and 3" exhaust
Summit ready to run dist/coil

Oh ya and sold the rusty fastback today. Bought the pair for $6500, pulled the engine/tranny/hood/grill/crossmembers out of the rusty one then sold it for $2700 lol. So if my math is correct I've got 3800 invested in the good one. Ill have about 4 times that in it when she's done but it'll be worth every penny.

Yep
N/A 6.2/4L80E/NP205

This is the best running and starting 6.2 diesel I've had the pleasure of owning.

I hauled @8000# down to nikiski a few years ago, it did very well then too
