What happened to the first picture?

That engine looked to be the same as the 565 you have there on the floor.

With 973 hp N/A he won't need any "power adder" to run bottom 9's...

Nice ride Scott...

Nice ride Scott...
I was assuming all 973 of those horses were achieved with force feeding or juice, and we just didnt see the system in the pics.

But, if its all motor, then no, 9's shouldnt be a problem. I guess having almost 15:1 compression equates to what sort of cylinder pressures you'd see with boost anyways.

I dont even want to know how much it costs to build a thousand horse N/A engine... good God.

More questions: Man, I know I'm really green when it comes to high horse engines, but it seems strange to me that you could draw enough air into the engine to produce that kind of power with less than 1200cfm coming through that carb. Dont a lot of sub-500 horse cars run dual quads that are like 500-750 each?

I'm not trying to question the numbers, I just honestly dont know enough to convince myself otherwise. ****, and its spinning up over 7000rpm too. Thats nuts.

If You Ask Me Dual Quads Are All In All A Pain In The *** , I Tried It Once About 6 Years Ago And Nothing But A Hassle . Look At Nascar They Do About 650-700 Using A 390 Cfm Carb And 360 Cubes I Think , Not A Big Nascar Buff. Ill Try To Post The Dyno Sheets
