Default 12/26/2014 Motor Mushers Cabin

I took some pics this time, really Pati did, I helped

There was a foot of fresh snow on the trail but before we even got there we had one recovery. A guy was driving his dog team down the road on a snogo. He stopped to let Mike pass and didn't hear me. I ended up in the ditch with the trailer across the road. Mike dropped his trailer and came back. I offloaded the buggy and tween us we were able to pull my truck and trailer back onto the road. Apart from that the trip was uneventful.

The fresh snow made the trail more interesting. There were a couple a ATVs that went in sometime before us. You could tell they worked hard to get to the cabin and were having lunch when we arrived.

We lunched and made an attempt at continuing past the MMC cabin. With no trail and terrible light, I couldn't even see 5' drops in the terrain, we didn't get as far as last weekend. I'd really like to do some night wheeling some time. I almost hate to say it but I hope it doesn't snow much this year

All the hills were harder with the fresh snow and it didn't help that I had 10psi in the ags.

So 35s and open diffs would probably be a bad idea for the NYE trip?
