Default July 4th weekend at squaw creek

We head out to squaw creek for the weekend. Never wheeled that trail so it was nice seeing new country. We headed in squaw creek to caribou creek, went up to Alfred creek and out the pass back to the highway. It was really dry but we manages to still find some mud and get stuck a few times. Weather was awesome and the company was great. Got to do some fishing while we were up there. No big issues, just a bad alternator but we had that fixed the first night and back on the trail. I didnt take many pictures but heres what i got.

Very nice!
I'm digging all the Chevys!
Is the black crew Lee's?
Are the orange and red crews board members?

Ya black one is Lee's ride. Red one is my uncle, Joe Russell and the orange one is my dad Danny Russell(907wrench or wrench907) i cant remember. Both are very nice rigs. Red one is about a 20 year build and the orange one is fresh this year.

Interesting. I have been thinking of a biking trip connecting Pinochle/Hicks with either Squaw or Bellanger pass. I heard Squaw creek trail was flatter, but muddier, and Belanger was higher and drier. Does that sound right to you?

I understand there is a hiking trail along Caribou, but I have not found any recent trip reports online.

I think what I want is to go up Hicks, cross over to Caribou, then to either Bellanger or Squaw. I just don't know which route is better for biking.
