Default Is there a such thing as an RV junk yard?

I would like to get my hands on a few RV parts such as a cook-top and a sink, maybe a few other things. I have found some new parts for fairly cheap online but if I can get them cheaper that would be even better.

Well I guess its not much help, but we have them here……………….

The places that sell used Caravans also keep a stock of secondhand parts from parted out caravans……………… I can normally get what I want a low enough prices………….

I can see we are going to run into a language problem here …………. A European caravan is an RV trailer van that is towed behind a vehicle ……… a lot like your 5th wheel RV vans …………….. but I seem to remember that a caravan in the states is what we would call a motorhome or MPV………..

So maybe try the places that sell used RV’s ………….. they don’t normally repair them for resale with new parts ………….

Hey, I have the mini stove w/ overhead oven, elc/prop fridg. prop. h20 heater ect. and what not. Was going to use it at my place up the Yenta but had a windfall. Make an offer, long as it's a cheap one. Also have a full latrine set-up, shower, pooper(never used),sink and vanity all for one price. I collected all this for a mini cabin and it just sits. If you are interested in a full set-up for a remote cabin let me know, if I aint usin it someone should. Nice get-up, Mike

I asked the same thing a few months back, but had no luck. If anyone finds anything please post.

Noah, I know it doesn't help but I just took the remnants of my cabover to the dump. I'll see if theres anything left in the shop.

The only thing the I really wound want out of all that is maybe the sink and stove top. I might be interesting in the water heater too as long as it's not very big.

If you have any pictures of the stuff it would really help me decide if what you have is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

The stove top I would like to find would be similar to this one below, either the two burner or three burner.

An exampel of the sink I would like would be any on this page.

I think you might have the term '5th wheel' mixed up. A 5th wheel uses the same style connector as a tractor-trailer, mounted in the bed of a pickup truck.

We do have the standard 'caravan', but it's known as a travel trailer.

Our motorhomes are probably the same as yours. Class A motorhomes are generally built on bus chassis, Class Cs are built using a van chassis (and cab). Then there are van conversions, which use a full van body and outfit the interior for living.

What sort of shape is it in? I have a truck-bed trailer, and a need for a spare bedroom this summer, lol
