Default Guy stuck at Jim Creek

Skateabrock called me and said there's a guy stuck with a brand new Ford Super Duty at the first water crossing that could use some help. At first he couldn't get the truck into reverse, after we was able to, he wasn't able to back out and several 4wheelers hooked up to him and weren't able to get it out either. Text Aaron 748-4102 for details

That truck had about 8 inches of standing water in the cab when it was pulled out. I don't think hooking up my dirtbike would have helped him much lol.

It moved more forward than that. The picture is when I first pulled up on my dirt bike.

Ford.. Must not have watched anyone cross. We didn't but we creeped in where the sticks marked crossing.

Glad he got out. We were at the glacier or close at that time.

Are you sure it wasn't sitting? I hear the super duty cabs are quite nice.

On a serious note, I'm glad he got out. Hopefully he learned something, and good on whoever helped him out. That's what this community is all about.

There were also 3 other trucks stuck out there today. 2 broncos and an early 2000's chevy half ton. They had seen the ford get stuck yesterday but didnt feel like helping. They wound up stuck about half mile back from him with nothing to get themselves out.

Sometimes I have to wonder what (if any) thought process occurs.

For the last few days I have been logging on a site a few miles off Shrock. The road in is rough and muddy. By no means a real challenge in a 4x4, but I have been dragging my trailer up there.

Anyhow had a guy come by yesterday with a newer 1/2 ton pickup that was lowered on some near bald lo pro tires with 24" wheels.

We had equipment blocking the road so I went to see what he needed... he had come up to steal firewood... "oh... these logs aren't for everyone?"
