The Meet and Greet 2004 hosted by AK Extreme 4x4 now has a firm date set. It will be held on JUNE 19th and 20th. That's a Saturday and Sunday just like last year. Monday will be available for those that want to leave then.

We are havinng it later in the spring to allow the local trails a better chance of drying out before 100+ rigs descend on them. With the snow fall we are getting this winter they will need extra time. So mark it on your calandars- this years event will be better than ever before!

Location is still in the planning proccess, we do have a gauranteed site, we are just exploring other possibilities.

Hope to see everyone there ! Summer of 2004 is going to ROCK! Dan

It's not the clubs you are meeting. It is fellow enthusiasts. The primary reason of the Meet and Greet is to allow wheelers through out the state to finally meet face to face. This gives the guys located in Fairbanks and the Kenai area an excuse to hit the Mat-Su region and explore some great trails.

Nice I am glad its a little later this year. I will be back from Moab and my rig will be finally trail ready. No more getting stuck in the entrance to the parking area for me. Got some new axles going on and a d20 twin sticked plus a few other goodies. Hopefully Phil I will finally get to make it to a Last Frontier meeting and make them a regular thing now that I don't have to rush back to the valley every evening to play Mr Mom.

Events are being planned right now. We are going to have alot of the same ones as last year, and some new ones. We'll let everyone know as soon as it all gets finalized.

This year is going to focus on SAFETY. Winch safety, jacking safety, driving safety, first-aid, etc. Land use issues will be covered, along with bigger and better raffle prizes.

Folks should definately mark this on the calandar. It will be an event worth remembering! Dan

Well the Arctic Offroad crew plans on making the trip again this year, minus any we lose to deployments. We have a meeting on the 19th of this month. Is there anything we can do to help out this year. Email me with your thoughts and I will bring it up at our meeting.

Late June, huh.
Bummer. *The majority of Arctic Offroaders will most likely be building sandcastles.
I should be there though, just let us know if there is any way, those that will be there could help. hope to see you there.

I was just curious. I've never been to a meet & greet so I don't know. Will there just be 4 wheelers there, or is there also gonna be vendors and stuff setting up booths and what not.......
