On Saturday Blackjack, Bgreen, Racer70x, and myself decided to go out to Captain cook state park to do some messing around on the beach and play on the rocks.

The weather didnt cooperate and the weather was cloudy with intermittent rain for most of the afternoon.

After playing on the rocks for a bit, and me becoming hopelessly stuck on a rock pile, we noticed the tide was still coming in. My dumb tourist *** didnt know that the tide book was for in town, not way out at Captain cook.

Our little group started to head back towards the "trailhead". We were forced to take the higher more rockier lines out since the tide was coming in. Racer70x got hung up on some rocks with his cj while Bgreen just pointed and shooted with the stock xj.

We got back to the trailhead just as the tide was reaching its highest point and the rain got a little harder.

We decided to head to Cohoe beach (where the tide would be on the way out) and do some more riding around.

On the way Bryan ran out of gas. We dont need no stinkin gas gauge...

We headed south to Cohoe beach (minus bgreen because he's a weenie) and were happy to find an almost empty parking lot at the "beachhead".

Cohoe beach is definitly lacking in the obstacle category, so we did some speed testing instead.

The manche drives better than my cherokee did at speed. Im very happy about that.

We did find a few rocks...

Trails end.

Over looking the beach and the sun came out just for the cook out.

Thanks for the fun weekend guys and helping me in my defense when it was needed!

I forgot about the carnage report.....

Nothing to bad, a lot of dents and dings from the rocks.

I think brooks cherokee will need a new bumper and some rocker panel massage.....

Bryan had some u bolts "trimmed" for him and also lost one of the infamous cj drop t-case mounts and then bashed the supportless tranny crossmember in.

I tested my warn front diff skid, tierod, and did this little number to one of my control arm brackets..

Nice to know wore out boggers work GREAT for sand, watch out for Quicksand though...

Beaches like that are awesome...45mph right on the water ans smoother than the highway

BTW, Don't take rides from strangers

Ever been high-centered on a speed bump? Would that be considered urban-wheeling? Deep thoughts......
