Default 2B2P Boulder Disaster

It was a beautiful weekend like no other. The sun was shining, and the going was good. Even though there was a light dusting of snow, there was enough traction to make it around good enough. Found a couple spike camps for hunting, and this really neat old cabin down by the river.

Our route started at the big parking lot, and went right instead of left up the big hill. Drove for awhile, until we found this fork in the road near the swamps. Decided to challenge the big hill, just to see whats on the other side. We ended up making it to the top of the hill, and followed a hogback down to boulder creek. Tooled around on the river bed for a bit, then found this cool cabin. (will go back and stay awhile sometime). Well, by this time the sun was fading, and we decided to head up the valley and find the connector to the boulder patch.

You all pretty much know the rest of the story from there on out. I dont have any photos, but there were cameras there, so i will let others post them up.

All in all, i had a great time. Just wish there was a larger showing from 2b2p, thats all.

well I represented 2B2P by flying in from homer, putting a grand total of 47gal of fuel in my truck, loosing my brand new camera.

it was a good trip to get those rigs back to there homes.

There was only one guy representing this club and he led the way driving the least equiped rig not to take away from the other drivers but that was not a disaster Jed you drive pretty dam good and went in and out twice in your rig with no breakage.

I'll post some pics after I have some family time!

Jed and I are both from the club, which I believe made it an official 2B2P run.

Anyhoo I have some videos and stuff I'll post up later. After that one hole it was pretty easy getting out. If I had only made it 2 fet further.....

I think it counts as 2 runs with all the return trips.
