Me, Chris, mike, and wayne hit up B-29 Sunday. Awesome weather for us all to enjoy. My first time on the this trail and I loved it. We did not get all the way up to the top because someone in out group ran into some serious Carnage along the way which we will get into the details at a later time. I'm still in the process of testing out my Burb and getting all the bugs out. My truck ran great all day, my front ARB compressor still sitting in my garage so I didn't have the front locked and I think it prevented me from getting all the way up Cable hill, but it was still fun trying. Here are a few pics, I got alot more but can't post all right now.

So chris, do you attribute the breakage to the ags? Im running the same axles with the same gears, and a little less HP, and was considerign ags, but maybe not now
![]() The burbs lookin sweet btw!

This was the first time I put it to the floor with the ags, and it lasted about 3 seconds. Yes I contribute it to the ags, the traction is just unreal.
I had 35 spline outers on it, and they held up just fine, it was a u-joint and long shaft that broke. I would definitely weld the axle tube, because that was a pretty stupid problem to have. Here is the sequence of events for the carnage: I drove up cable hill, and broke a battery mount while getting a tire on top of a 3+ foot berm to get around a rock. The battery bounced onto the high pressure steering hose, forcing it against the PS pump pulley. The hose quickly got a hole in it, and after a few repair attempts, I decided to run without power steering. We headed further up and came to the mud pit. It was only 2 ft deep so I idled right through it. On the other side of the mud pit there are 3-4 foot ruts going up a steep embankment. Of course I had to try. I went twice at about half throttle, then hammered it for a few second before hearing something binding up. I got out to look, and the driveshaft was on the ground, and the pumpkin on the rear axle was pointing straight up. I spun both tubes on the 14 bolt, broke the rear u-joint, and the ears off my driveshaft. I pulled the driveshaft completely out, and tried to back down. Only 1 tire was spinning. Spencer4x4 pulled me backwards through the pit and onto dry ground, so we could get a better look. Broken ears off the inner short shaft. I pulled that out, and decided we should try to limp out in 1 wheel drive. I backed up a few feet, and the wheels started turning opposite of the steering wheel (remember this is without power steering). Got out to take a gander, and saw the box hanging off the frame. Turns out one of the ears (mounting tabs) broke off the box, and the other 3 bolts snapped in half. At this point we gave up on it, but had to move it since it was blocking the trail. I tired to drive forward a bit, but apparently the steering box was wedged between the tire and leaf spring, and that shaft snapped. WE drug it off to the side with a my winch, and left it. We went back today, and threw in some full spare shaft sets to save time. My hubs were also toast, so I borrowed one from Jed, and used one of Ryans spares. Got it buttoned up around 930ish and drove out in front wheel drive. FYI I didnt even need to spin a tire coming back out. I will add pictures later.
